  2. You need 2 of medium sized Boiled and mashed sweet potatoes (optional).
  3. Get 1/2 litre of Milk.
  4. You need 1/2 cup of Sugar.
  5. Use 1/4 cup of Chopped Dry fruits(Cashew nuts,Almonds) for stuffing.
  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Cardamom powder.
  7. Prepare 2 cup of Ghee for frying.
  8. Get 2 tsp of Semolina / All purpose flour (Maida).

  1. Boil milk in a pan till it becomes slightly thick,(not too thick) then add sugar and cardamom powder and switch off the flame..
  2. Mash The cottage cheese(Chenna) well in a mixing bowl add All purpose flour (Maida) and knead it well then add boiled and sweet potatoes and knead it well. (Generally Sweet Potato is not used in Rassabali but I have given it a twist by adding sweet potatoes, but if you don't want to add, u can skip it)..
  3. Make small balls and stuff it with chopped dry fruits and slightly flatten it in the middle. (as shown in the main pic). (You can skip this stuffing part too as stuffing is also not used in Rassabali but I have made it in my own version). You can also give the desired shape of Rassabali..
  4. Then in a kadai heat ghee and fry it till it attains golden colour. (Make sure not to deep fry it as it will get hardened if you do so)..
  5. Then immediately after frying the Rassabalis add it to the pre-prepared sweetened Milk and let it rest for 2 hrs till the Rassabalis soak the milk..
  6. Garnish it with pistachios and serve it..
